Yeah, we talked smack about the release order fans in the intro, but don't worry, we've got your back too. The Guardians come out on top in the end, but decide to go their separate ways leaving Rocket to head up the new Guardians. The High Evolutionary won’t go down without a fight though and threatens another creation of his, the Sovereign, with destruction if they don’t help him capture Rocket’s impressive brain, forcing Ayesha to throw her powerful, but stupid newly-grown son Adam Warlock into the ring. Quill, who’s still struggling with the loss of his Gamora, and the rest of Guardians must fight to save their friend’s life and enlist the help of the other Gamora along the way. Chukwudi Iwuji’s baddie knows no limits in his quest to create ‘a perfect world’, as seen through Rocket’s flashbacks as he fights for his life. The Guardians return for a third, and apparently final (at least with this exact line-up), outing in an emotional fight against Rocket’s creator and torturer, The High Evolutionary.
